Stroud Goodwill evening Friday 3rd Dec 2021: I will have a stall with local linocut landscapes, the ever popular gift cards of these landscapes, and other goodies. Come to get some local xmas gifts and also see some wallpaper samples up close. See you there!

Invited Guest at Frogmarsh Mill 23-24th Nov 2019: I’ll be hanging some wallpapers and having a sale of landscape linocut prints at the Frogmarsh Collective Christmas event. I know this space is always full of beautiful things, so I’m very excited to join in.

Hills and Mills wallpaper installed at the Subrooms café, B-side. Pop in for a great chance to see a locally made wallpaper inspired by our valleys made and installed in a week under the bar in the firing line of red wine! Who says block-printed wallpaper is time consuming and delicate?!

Art in the City 2019: I had a lovely day in the dock area of Gloucester yesterday taking part in their plein air event. I couldn’t resist painting the building that literally had my name on it, but in the end I submitted a picture of a boat and a strange blue machine I found. This was short-listed during judging, so I was well chuffed!

I’ve finally signed up to Instagram- lucymakingwallpaper: Take a sneaky peek at what’s happing inside the studio and see a wallpaper go from idea to a wall-sized work of art. To get taken straight to my Instagram just click on the blue icon at the bottom right of this page.

This year’s punt for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition: Inspired from the research of Prof. Polly Arnold who works on crazily unstable metals.

Launching ‘STROUD PAISLEY’: This bold and very local wallpaper is making it’s first public appearance in the lovely Malthouse  (Salmon Springs, Stroud). I have filled the corridor between the Café and the Malthouse Collective, I’m calling it ‘the tunnel of paisley’ … go and have a look and I recommend the eggs Royal in the café if you are in time for brunch.

Discover the Artist: This event was in August 2018 in the Sub rooms in Stroud. The Rotary club raised Six thousand pounds for charity from the sale of over 150 small works donated by local artists. Rotary logoSince the idea is that you are not supposed to know who made the works donated I kept quiet about it but luckily someone bought mine! I think they are planning on doing it again so come along next year to pick up some affordable art in the name of some good causes.

SELECT TRAIL 2018 open studio event  5-6th May and 12-13th May. This is a great chance to see many local makers at work in their workshops.

Thanks again to those who came to the open studio and gave me such great and useful feedback on the wallpaper. Exciting times! To reward you here is the cake recipe and here is the biscuit recipe too.

Goodwill evening in Stroud 1st Dec 2017: I will have a stall stuffed full of prints/cards from current and previous exhibitions and my brand new handprinted wallpaper. Just a few metres of it will transform corners of your home, from bookshelves/wardrobes to cozy alcoves. Come along and tell me what you think.

Christmas 2017 6th Nov-15th Dec:  I’m booked in to have an exhibition in the lovely Hobbs House bakery Bistro in Nailsworth. The work has been inspired by the valleys around us. There will be linocuts and a new range of hand-printed wallpapers.

Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust  2016:  Ended 10th October. Over 40% of the sales from this exhibition went to the WWT for their work to save and improve wetlands here in the UK and around the world, and since we had great sales, we were able to make quite a significant contribution, so thanks to all.

Open Mills weekend – Dunkirk Mill:  I will be having a small exhibition of works that feature mills and other related buildings during the National Mills weekends (May 9th-10th, May 16th-17th 2015). Dunkirk Mill is just outside Nailsworth and houses a massive water wheel that was used to power cloth-making machinery. To go on a tour to find out about this mill site during these weekends, please contact Stroud Textile Trust.
