Warp and Weft (Ultramarine Blue on Arsenic)

£175.00

This paper celebrates the canal-side textile industry in Stroud. Features seen along the waterways are arranged in a strong vertical structure with lighter horizontals designed to hint at the warp and weft threads of woven fabric coming out of the wool industry of the area. Even the mud boats which are being used to restore the canal are called, ‘Warp’ and, ‘Weft’, so of course they had to be included in the design.

The result is a strong dense design, perfectly suited for smaller projects or for rooms where a more formal, yet cozy atmosphere is desired.

This was a bespoke colourway using Farrow and Ball ‘Arsenic’ as the background . If using a ‘standard’ background colour this paper would be £110 per roll or £60 per half roll. Please see my pricing guide for a list of standard colours.
